Founded in 1907 by the visionary students of Cotton College, Maharana Club stands as one of the pioneering sports institutions in Northeast India. What began as a humble initiative by young enthusiasts has evolved into a cornerstone of Assamese sports culture.
The club's first public appearance was in October 1907, marking the beginning of a journey that would see Maharana become the first team from Assam to participate in major national tournaments outside the province.
